For practices that do not fit

Most software assumes one coach, one client, one hour, one payer.

Almost nobody works like that. Uploop bends to the shape your practice already has, rather than asking you to pretend.

What actually goes wrong

The shapes the software forgot.

Every one of these is normal in this profession, and every one of them breaks a tool built for a single coach billing a single person by the hour.

The payer is not the client

A company buys the coaching, an employee receives it, and somebody in HR needs to know it happened without reading a word of what was said. Two relationships, one session, and a confidentiality line you cannot afford to blur.

Work is sold in arcs, not hours

Twelve sessions bought at once, four used, one refunded, and a client who wants to book the next one when they are ready rather than all of them today. Most calendars cannot hold that thought.

Two people in the room

Couples, co-founders, a manager and their second. One record, two humans, two sets of check-ins, and consent that has to be handled properly rather than assumed.

Associates, supervisors and pools

Somebody assigns the work, somebody does it, somebody reviews it, and the money splits three ways. Everybody needs a different view of the same client, and most tools offer one.

What changes

Say what your practice is. It will hold.

A service can be one session or twelve, sold together or one at a time, with the coach deciding which. A sponsor can be billed while the person coached keeps their privacy. A pair is a unit with two people in it.

Roles decide who sees what, so a supervisor sees the arc and not the transcript, and an associate sees their own clients and not the practice's books. None of it requires a phone call with us.

Shapes Uploop already holds
  • Corporate sponsor. Invoice the company, coach the person, report the attendance and nothing else.
  • Block of twelve. Paid once, booked as they go, with what is left visible to both of you.
  • A pair. Two logins, one arc, and check-ins that each person answers for themselves.
  • Associate and supervisor. Assigned work, a review that sees the shape without the words, and a split that is worked out already.
Blocks of sessions Sold once, booked all at once or one at a time, and you decide which
Sponsored coaching The invoice goes one way and the confidentiality goes the other
Pairs and couples One record, two people, and consent handled rather than assumed
Roles and permissions Supervisors, associates and owners each see what they should

If it is not on this page, it is probably still possible, and if it is not we would rather say so than sell you a workaround.
