About Uploop

The operating system for human development professionals.

An AI teammate for coaches that remembers every client and handles the work between sessions. We are starting with coaching and building outward from there.

A coach at her desk, between sessions

The state of the work

Four things every practice is losing right now.

None of them are about the hour itself. Coaches are good at the hour. It is the other six days, and everything the hour drags behind it, that quietly costs a practice its results and its evenings.

The week is invisible

Six days pass and nobody sees them. A client drifts on the Tuesday and it surfaces at the next session, when it is a fortnight old and the moment to act on it has gone.

Preparation is unpaid

Rebuilding where somebody got to is twenty minutes a client that nobody invoices. Across a full roster that is a working day a week, given away or skipped.

You are the memory

Every commitment, score and half-finished thread lives in your head or in notes nobody reads back. It works at eight clients. At twenty-five it is the reason good coaches stop growing.

The admin is a second job

Booking, intake, invoices, reminders, chasing. None of it is the work anybody trained for, and all of it lands on whoever is smallest.

What we are building

A teammate, not another place to file things.

Most software for this profession files things. Calendars, invoices, notes, a client list. Useful, and none of it touches the four problems above, because filing is not the job. Remembering is, and so is everything that has to happen when nobody is in the room.

Uploop is built the other way round. It reads every session, keeps what matters about every client, sends the work out afterwards, notices who is drifting, and has the brief waiting before the next hour begins. The roster, the calendar, the payments and the pages exist so that loop has somewhere to live.

The ambition is plain enough to say in one line. An operating system for human development professionals: one place where the practice runs itself, and the practitioner is left with the part only a person can do.

The founder Olaoluwa Ogundeji

Coaching is one of the few professions where the work that decides the outcome happens when the professional is not there.

Everything we build starts from that, which is why Uploop remembers every client and takes the week between sessions off your hands rather than filing it neatly.

What we will not do

Four promises, and what each one costs us.

We are not a marketplace.

We will never introduce your clients to another coach, and never bring another coach's clients to you. It would be the fastest way to grow and it would make your roster our asset instead of yours.

We charge for the plumbing, not for your work.

A card payment costs 3.15% plus 30 cents. That is processing. There is no commission on top, no rate that climbs with your prices, and nothing at all on money you take another way.

Our name stays small.

The invite comes from you. The page is yours, at your address. On Studio we appear nowhere at all, which is a strange thing to sell and the right thing to offer.

We will not overclaim.

Nothing here makes a client do the work. It makes the work small, puts it where they already are, and tells you early when somebody is drifting. Anyone promising more is describing software that does not exist.

How we are paid

Two lines, and there is no third.

You should be able to hold our whole business model in your head. If you ever cannot, something has gone wrong at our end rather than yours.

A subscription

$0 to $149

Paid by you, monthly or yearly, for the software. From ten dollars a month for fewer, which is long enough to know whether it works.

A card payment

3.15% + 30c

Per successful transaction, on every plan. It covers processing and settles into your own Stripe account. Nothing on a failed payment, and nothing on a session settled in cash or by transfer.

And nothing else.

No listing fees, no lead fees, no revenue share, no charge for a seat you are not using, and no price that moves because you raised yours.

Decisions we made on purpose

Small things that say what we think.

None of these were forced on us. Each one is a place where the easy answer and the right answer pointed different ways.

A trend stays blank until it means something

Three check-ins is not a trend. A chart that pretends otherwise is worse than no chart, so the panel says nothing until it can say something true.

A testimonial needs the client's consent

A coach cannot publish a client's words on their own say-so. The client writes it, or agrees to it, and until then it is not shown anywhere.

Praise from a session is a request, not a quote

Something said in a private hour is not permission to put it on a website. Turning it into a testimonial asks the person who said it.

Completion is observed, not declared

Whether a session happened is worked out from who joined the call. There is no button to remember, and no incentive to press one.

A held slot expires

Fifteen minutes while somebody pays, then it goes back on sale. Long enough for a card, short enough that an abandoned checkout costs the next person nothing.

An invoice number never changes

Numbers are assigned once and written down. Recording an old cash payment must not renumber every invoice a client already has.

No testimonials here yet.

There will be, when coaches have used Uploop long enough to mean one. Inventing them would be an odd way to open a relationship with somebody whose whole job is noticing when people are not being straight with them.

When they arrive they will be about the wedge rather than about us: work finished between sessions, and hours a coach stopped giving away.

Three places, held open.

Try it with one client and see.
